NEWS we'dlike to share!
AUGUST 2009

Saavaan MA has settled in beautifully and has even
become used to our kangaroos.  He adores his little
sister and is coping with life in  Australia extremely well!

JULY 2009

Saavaan MA has arrived safely and happily from New Zealand
and he is simply stunning!  Photos coming soon!

JUNE 2009

Arriving soon from New Zealand is Saavaan MA, a stunning chestnut, rising 4yo purebred gelding with superstar potential and a pedigree to back it up!

By the 2005 NZ National Champion Stallion Khouros (exp/imp NZ) - needing no introduction to Australian shores, Khouros is very proudly bred and owned by Simone Tiplady and Mark Brear of Sacred Hill Arabians in Queensland.  The ultimate showman and extreme moving machine with the temperament of a lamb.  Everyone who meets Khouros loses their hearts to him!

From SS Bint Seetha - 2002 NZ National Champion Filly and 2005 NZ National Champion Mare - a fairytale grey mare of stunning beauty and grace with a faultless temperament as well.  She is by Simeon Shemini (Asfour x Simeon Shuala by Simeon Shai) and from Rula who is by Simeon Shomer, a full brother to Simeon Sanegor and himself a halter champion.  Rula's dam is the beautiful Seetha, who contributes the precious Gainey lines through Gai Cadet.

It is anticipated that Saavaan will leave NZ shores on 19th July 2009 and will join us and his half sibling (also by Khouros) evolutionKHALLIGRAPHY a couple of days later.

There are so many people we want to thank for truly helping make one of our dreams come true - firstly, Melissa and Maree of Maazea Arabians, New Plymouth NZ without whose generosity I would still be talking about a foal photo I admired on Sacred Hill Arabians' website. Thanks to Simone for not only breeding the awesome Khouros but also for pointing Melissa out to me at the 2009 NZ Nationals in Cambridge where we first talked about Saavaan.  The wonderful Bonni Paul of Kiva Arabians, Auckland NZ, (aka "The Hotel Takanini") where Saavaan has been staying prior to his big trip across the Tasman.  Bonni is so wonderful with her "hotel" guests and has been extremely accommodating to both Saavaan's and my wishes.  And to all those who have given us their encouragement, a very sincere thank you as well, your words have meant a lot to us!!!

Roll on July and our upcoming show season!
